On Thursday, 25th November, the Maharashtra government announced that the schools will reopen from December 1. In rural areas, classes from 1 to 4, and in urban areas, classes from 1 to 7 reopen.
From December 1 in Maharashtra all the schools will be reopened. The government took the decision in the cabinet meeting on Thursday, 25th November. The government decided to reopen schools of rural areas for class 1 to 4 and schools of urban areas for class 1 to 7.

Currently in Maharashtra, classes of std 8 to 12 are already being conducted offline in urban areas and in rural areas classes of std 5 to 12 are going on offline. Hence, after this decision of Maharashtra government all the schools in the state will be reopened from December 1.
The government has strictly ordered, to follow covid-19 protocols in all the schools.
