Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) by seven wickets in IPL 2022 47th match. Not only KKR but the rest of the teams have benefited a lot from this win. This is because the team of Rajasthan is the top-4 team in the points table. If any team loses from the top, the teams at the bottom of the points table will benefit and they will be able to present a good challenge.

With the victory over RR, Kolkata's team has now won four matches in 10 matches, while they have lost six matches. With eight points, the team is at number seven in the points table. At the same time, Rajasthan did not suffer much loss and the team remains in third place. RR have won six out of 10 matches so far and lost four. The team is in third place with 12 points.

The two new IPL teams have shown a great game so far and occupy the first two places in the points table. Gujarat Titans are at the top of the points table with eight wins and one loss from nine matches. They have 16 points and the team has almost qualified for the playoffs. It will also become official if they win against Punjab on Tuesday. At the same time, Lucknow is at the second position with 14 points and seven matches out of 10.

The top four teams will qualify for the playoffs. Then Qualifier-1, Eliminator and Qualifier-2 will be played. This will be followed by the title match on May 29. At present, the equation of the points table has become exciting. Barring Gujarat, almost all the other teams are in the race for the playoffs. After Kolkata's win, Rajasthan will have to win all their matches to qualify in the top-4.

At the same time, the same equation is sitting with Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, Punjab and Chennai. If any team loses a match, it will be in danger of being knocked out of the playoff race. It is very difficult for Mumbai's team to reach the playoffs at the moment, because even after winning all the matches from here, it will score only 12 points. At the same time, Hyderabad and Bangalore need to win just one match to reach 12 points.
