India has reported new corona virus cases and this is the lowest in the last 230 days. The total number of COVID-19 cases in India is 3,34,39,331 as on Oct 18, 2021. The death rate due to COVID is 1.33% that is 4,52,290.
The recovery cases of last 24 hours are more than 19 thousand (19,582) as on Oct 18, 2021. The daily positivity rate reported is 1.37%.
The nation’s vaccination drive crosses 97.79 crore
mark of administered doses. Around 17.2% of people above the age of 60 years
are vaccinated, 27.2% of people aged between 45 to 60 years are vaccinated and
around 55.6% of people, between the ages of 18-44 years are vaccinated till
now.
The goal of fully vaccinated adults by the end of this
year is 108 crore.
