Kerala Heavy Rain: 9 dead, red alert in Uttarakhand and in some parts of western UP.

 Nine people died and more than 15 people are missing in this amid torrential rain in Kerala.

Many parts of the state faced landslides that affected the lives of the citizens. It acts as a nightmare as the flood takes Cars, Buses.

Red alerts are given to 6 districts: Kottayam, Ernakulam, Pathanamthitta, Thrissur, Idukki.

And some districts are given orange alerts.


As DG of NDRF Satya Narayan Pradhan Tweets, 11 teams of NDRF has been deployed in different parts of the state.

The state government has also requested the Army and the AirForce to step into this situation for help. All the bases under southern command are put on high alert and the helicopters are on standby.

An army column of about 30 personnel has moved from Pangode military station to Kanjirappallin Kottayam district.
