“Mann Ki Baat” is a radio program in which the PM addresses the people. It is broadcasted on every last Sunday of every month, however this month it will be broadcasted on the second last Sunday.
In his speech he appreciated the contribution of healthcare workers in Corona vaccinations. India secured a total number of 100 crores of Corona vaccinations in the past week. In his speech he said, “India salutes our healthcare workers. I am well aware of the capabilities of my country, the people of my country. I knew that our healthcare workers would leave no stone unturned to vaccinate countrymen.”
He praised the country for achieving a great number of vaccinations and said that the country is moving forward with new enthusiasm and new energy in this regard. The PM also interacted with Poonam Nautiyal, a healthcare worker in Bageshwar district in Uttarakhand. He talked about the difficulties and the challenges came in the way of vaccination. She shared the experience of conducting vaccination drives door to door. The PM also praised her for her hard work.
He mentioned, “After administering more than 100 crore vaccines, the country is moving forward with new enthusiasm, new energy. The success of our vaccine program shows the potential of India, shows the power of mantra of everyone’s effort.”
