Three-day ISM annual sports carnival concludes

Patna: The three-day annual sports carnival of International School of Management (ISM), Patna concluded here on Friday, December 24, 2021.



The sports meet saw participation from students of the college in cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, PUBG, carrom, chess and ludo.

Senior IAS officer, Mr Dipak Kumar Singh, who was the chief guest on the concluding day, Mr Santosh Kumar, Regional Head, Bank of Baroda, Patna, ISM Chairman, Mr Samrendra Singh, Vice-Chairman, Mr Deval Singh and Secretary, Mr Amal Singh, distributed trophies, medals and certificates to winners of different events. 



In his short valedictory address, Mr Dipak Kumar Singh, who is currently posted as Principal Secretary, Department of Environment and Climate Change, Bihar, asked the students to follow a healthy lifestyle and lead a stress-free life. “This you can follow when you start living in the present and stop thinking about past and future,” he said. 

Earlier, the director of ISM, Dr RK Singh, welcomed the chief guest and the guest of honour. 

The three-day festivity came to an end with a lively Christmas Carnival which treated the audience with melodious music, dance performances and singing of Christmas Carol. 



The three-day event was declared open on December 22 by ace shooter, commonwealth games gold medallist and MLA Shreyasi Singh. Inaugurating the sports extravaganza, Ms Singh had said that sports taught people to see victory even in defeat. One should, therefore, keep working hard in every sphere of life with enthusiasm, she had said.

ISM-Harward Business School academic collaboration likely

The director of International School of Management (ISM), Patna, Dr RK Singh on Friday, December 24, 2021, said the institution was in talks with the US-based prestigious Harward Business School for academic collaboration.

Harward Business School has been consistently ranked among the top business schools in the world and offers a large full-time MBA programme, management-related doctoral programmes, and many executive education programmes.

Mr Singh said ISM, a premiere institute that offers many vocational courses, was in talks with the Infosys, an Indian multinational information technology company, for a tie-up.
