A BCCI official told PTI that Mitchell Marsh's RT-PCR test has come negative, which is the most accurate test. In such a situation, there is no threat to the Delhi-Punjab match. Mitchell Marsh was constantly in touch with Patrick as he went through the rehab process. For this reason some symptoms were found in them. Due to this crisis of Corona, the Delhi team cancelled the plan to go to Pune and all the players became quarantine.

Positive in Antigen test

Earlier it was reported that the player who has tested positive for Delhi Capitals is Mitchell Marsh. Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh came in contact with team physio Patrick, who was found to be Corona positive a few days ago. Although this was based on the input antigen test.

Mitchell Marsh was associated with Delhi Capitals in early April. He left the ODI series being played against Pakistan and came with Delhi Capitals. Mitchell Marsh had some injury, so he could not play against Pakistan. Therefore, for his recovery, he joined the camp of Delhi Capitals.

After joining the team, Mitchell Marsh also played a match, in which he proved to be a complete failure. Mitchell Marsh scored 14 runs in 24 balls in the match played against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Delhi Capitals were in trouble due to his slow innings.

IPL in trouble?

There is a crisis once again on the Indian Premier League 2022. Last year's season also had to be done in two parts for the same reason, because in the first part, there were frequent cases of corona. In such a situation, the IPL was stopped due to the concern expressed by the franchise. Later the second part of IPL 2021 was conducted in UAE.

Now that IPL is happening in India and due to Corona, the entire tournament is already being organized in only two cities. Then more concerns are increasing regarding the IPL. When cases of corona came to light in Delhi Capitals, the entire team was quarantined.
