SC said
this on vaccination
The Supreme Court says that the condition imposed by some
state governments and organizations to restrict the access of non-vaccinated
people in public places is not proportionate and should be withdrawn in the
current circumstances.
Central
government should make data on adverse effects public
The Supreme Court has also directed the Center to make
public data on the adverse effects of COVID-19 vaccination. However, the court
termed the Center's vaccination policy as rational. The court said that no
person can be compelled to get the vaccine.
At the same time, the Supreme Court has justified the
government's Covid vaccination policy, saying that it is based on scientific
evidence, but no one can be forced to get the vaccine. The court has suggested
that the state governments should withdraw orders preventing people who have
not received the Covid vaccine from using public facilities.
