Citizens of Sri Lanka, stricken by economic crisis, have
been sitting on the Rashtrapati Bhavan for the last 24 hours. A day earlier,
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa fled the country. On Sunday, the order of the
arrival and departure of the crowd from the morning of the second day remains.
Security forces are deployed with guns at the main gate. But, they are not able
to stop anyone. The citizens have kept Rashtrapati Bhavan as a tourist spot.

Bhavan with family. Sofas and furniture are lying here. Crowds are seen taking

The mob has also broken the main gate. Looking at the
situation here, it can be said that now this place has become like a tourist
spot. People are reaching out to take selfies and pictures. The crowd has
occupied the kitchen. People have been seen playing from the library to the
President's piano. Food has been arranged for the people. Bottles are being
given for water.
Demand to
leave the post immediately from the President
Youth and students are also included in this protest. Here
people say that Gotabaya should resign immediately. However, it has been said
on behalf of Gotabaya that he will resign from the post of President on July
13. However people are not ready to wait. They are adamant on their demand to
leave the post immediately.
No vehicles
on the roads due to fuel crisis
Violent clashes broke out in Colombo a day earlier on
Saturday. Today, for the second day, the roads of the capital are looking
deserted. Heavy armed forces have been deployed throughout the city. The fuel
crisis became so deep that the movement of vehicles has almost come to a
standstill. People are waiting here for more than a week for fuel. Commercial
establishments are also facing problems due to lack of fuel. So far 4 ministers
have resigned.

Drinking
videos surfaced
People are working out in the President's gym. Some videos have surfaced in which the protesters have entered the kitchen and are eating food there. It is also being seen that some people are also cooking food in the kitchen. A person is also seen making something in a kadhai. In a video, protesters are also seen drinking liquor from a bottle inside the building. Some people have entered the bedroom and are lying on the bed and taking selfies.
