Disadvantages of drinking coffee

1. Dementia

People who drink more than 5 or 6 cups of coffee a day are at increased risk of dementia. This is a mental disease in which the patient is unable to behave normally mentally. Also, due to this, diseases like high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke can occur.

 

2. Lack of sleep (Insomnia)

We drink coffee because we feel refreshed and sleep and fatigue disappear. Due to this, alertness increases, but if you drink coffee in excess, then due to caffeine, sleep will not come at the right time and at the same time the sleeping pattern will also be completely disturbed.

 

3. Digestion Problem

The worst effect of drinking coffee is on our stomach because it releases the hormone gastrin which increases the activity of the colon. If you drink a lot of coffee, then the problem of digestion can arise.

 

4. High Blood Pressure

Caffeine is found in large amounts in coffee, due to which it increases blood pressure rapidly. This increases the risk of serious diseases like heart attack, stroke. If you have heart disease or high BP, then drink coffee in very small amounts.
