Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered Netaji while addressing a rally in Gujarat. He said, 'The passing of Mulayam Singh Yadav ji is a great loss for the country. SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav wanted to see him as the Prime Minister after the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and he said this during his speech in Parliament itself. I called and asked for blessings. Then Netaji had also given some words of advice along with blessings. Which is my honor even today.

PM Modi said, 'I was coming here this morning when a sad news was also received. Mulayam Singh Yadav ji passed away today. His passing is a great loss to the country. His relationship with me was special. When both of us used to meet as chief ministers, he and I also felt a sense of belonging towards both.
Advice was given with blessings in 2014
