ICC Rankings: Suryakumar Yadav achieved a new position in
the new ICC T20 rankings.

India's star batsman Suryakumar Yadav has received a big reward from the ICC before the semi-final match against England. Surya, who has scored three half-centuries in the T20 World Cup 2022, has achieved his career-best rating points in the T20 rankings. In this case, he has broken the record of England opener Alex Hales.

This 32-year-old right-handed batsman of Team India has now
got 869 points, which has become the best rating point of his career so far. At
the same time, Alex Hales' best rating was 866. Although the world record for
all-time high ranking is still with England's David Malan with 915 points. But
in the coming time, Surya can soon leave Malan behind. Surya, the only batsman
to complete 1000 runs in T20 Internationals this year, has also consolidated
his hold on the first place in the batsmen's rankings. The gap between him and
second-placed Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan has increased to 39 points.

batsmen in the new ICC rankings. Surya and Rizwan are followed by Devon Conway
of New Zealand, Babar Azam of Pakistan and Aiden Markram of South Africa at
number three, fourth and fifth respectively.

For India, Virat Kohli has suffered in the rankings here and
is now out of the top 10. Virat is currently ranked 11th, although he still
remains at number two among the top-ranked Indian batsmen. Their KL Rahul has
gained one place to reach 16th position while Rohit Sharma is at number 18th.
