Team India did not reach the final of T20 World Cup 2022.
England beat India by 10 wickets in the semi-final match played in Adelaide on
Thursday. India had given a target of 169. England's openers achieved this
target in the 16th over with a run rate of 10.
England's
one-sided win...
English opener Alex Hales made 86 at a strike rate of 183.
Captain Jos Buttler scored 80 at a strike rate of 163. Both the batsmen made no
mistake and chased down the target very easily.

India's 2
big mistakes in power play
1. Not giving second
over to Arshdeep
Arshdeep conceded 8 runs in an over in the power play.
Lowest economy among 4 bowlers. Rohit doesn't give him the second over even
though he gets the wicket at the start. Not giving him the second over was
Rohit's big mistake as captain.
2. Bhuvi did not
swing, weak in letter length
When Bhuvneshwar Kumar brought the first over, he was
getting swing, but on the third ball, Rohit asked Pant to keep from the front.
That is, the chances of swinging the ball in front of Bhuvneshwar were
completely over. Axar Patel mostly bowled short length deliveries, which were
converted into boundaries by Butler and Hales.
Hardik's
power play
After the dismissal of Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya batted
vigorously. He scored 63 runs in 33 balls. Hardik's strike rate was 190. At one
point, India, which seemed to be shrinking in less than 150, reached 168 runs.
He hit 4 fours and 5 sixes.
India's 3
mistakes...
1. KL Rahul out early
In the second over, KL Rahul gave a wicket to Chris Woakes.
He handed the ball out to the keeper. From here the pressure increased and the
batting remained slow in the power play.
2. Rohit gave a
wicket after freezing
Rohit Sharma, who came to the opening, got out in the 9th
over after scoring 27 runs. Then the need was that they bat for at least 15
overs.
3. Suriya's gameplan
fails
Adil Rashid bowled well. He conceded just 20 runs in 4
overs. In his last over, Surya tried to play an aggressive shot and was
dismissed. After attacking after this over, the run rate would also increase
and there would be no pressure.
England's
game plan succeeded...
1. Woakes made early
breakthrough
Mark Wood was injured and did not play. In such a situation,
the entire responsibility was on Chris Woakes. He soon succeeded. On the fourth
ball of the second over, he dismissed KL Rahul for 5 runs. England dominated
from here.
2. Leg spinners did
not let the run rate increase
Adil Rashid and Liam Livingstone didn't let the rune down.
Rashid gave only 20 runs in 4 overs i.e. only 5 runs in every over. Livingstone
gave 21 runs in 3 overs i.e. 5 runs in every over.
3. Adil implicated
Surya
Surya, who was in form, had hit fours and sixes, but he was
trapped by Adil. In his last over, he bowled at Surya's favorite spot but
slowed down the pace. Surya was caught at extra cover to King Salt.
Kohli left,
Rohit missed the catch.
Sam Curran brings the third over. The second ball took the
outer edge of the bat and went into the slip but did not reach the player.
Kohli survived. After this, in the fourth over, he hit a six over the covers.
Chris Woakes was bowling. In the fifth over, Rohit played a cut shot on the
fourth ball of Sam Curran. The ball hit Brooks's hands and fell.
