Sub-Inspector Dattatray Kadnor of the Nashik City Police
Force has been awarded the President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service
for his outstanding contributions to the field of crime investigation. The
award, which is considered one of the highest honors in the Indian police
force, was presented on the occasion of Republic Day.

Kadnor, who is currently working in the Central Crime Branch, has an impressive track record of solving serious crimes such as murder, theft, burglary, and robbery. Throughout his career, he has
held various positions within the police department, including constable, Deolali Camp, Nashik Road, Sarkarwada, Bhadrakali, Special Branch, Mumbai Naka Police Station and Central Crime Branch.
One of Kadnor's most notable achievements is his success in solving serious crimes. Out of the cases he has investigated, 12 have resulted in the conviction of the accused. In 2017, he was recognized for
his achievements by the Director General of Police, who awarded him a medal and a certificate of distinction.
Additionally, Kadnor has also helped in the seizure of 15 village guns while working at Nashik Road Police Station and 65 two-wheelers were seized while working at Bhadrakali Police Station. These arrests and seizures demonstrate his dedication to fighting crime and keeping the community safe.
