Movie Review - Sarkaru Vaari Pata

Telugu film superstar Mahesh Babu has been in the news for some time for one of his statements. But today we are talking about him because his film 'Sarkaru Vaari Pata' has been released. In the recent past, films of South Indian languages have been well-liked in the Hindi belt as well. It remains to be seen whether Mahesh's 'Sarkaru Vaari Pata' can bridge the linguistic gap and replicate the success of 'RRR', KGF and 'Pushpa'. You may get to hear and read similar wordplays of the film in the future as well. Bear with me

Still from the Movie
The story of 'Sarkaru Vari Pata' begins in Visakhapatnam i.e. Vizag. There is a boy named Mahi, whose parents committed suicide due to non-payment of bank loan. Now it has grown up. Lives in Miami. He is in the business of giving money there. During this time, he meets a girl named Kalavati. Kalavati meets Mahi in a completely desi avatar. She borrows from him 10 thousand dollars i.e. about eight and a half lakh rupees. One day, Mahi sees Kalavati drinking and gambling in the bar. Mahi doesn't like this thing. So, he asks for his money back. But Kalavati refuses to give the money. In such a situation, Mahi comes to Vizag from Miami to take money from Kalavati's father Rajendranath.

Something happens on the way from Miami to Visakhapatnam. After this, Mahi starts demanding 10 thousand crore rupees from Rajendranath instead of 10 thousand dollars. The reason behind this change is related to Mahi's childhood. What is the whole game, you will understand this thing after watching the film. You can watch the trailer of the film here-

'Sarkaru Vaari Pata' is a mainstream masala film, which wants some serious things to be said in laughter and games. But when the film takes its subject so lightly, how will the public take that thing seriously! Big and wealthy people, when they take loans from banks, they try all kinds of tricks so that they do not have to return the money to the bank. Whereas poor people who really take loans from banks in times of need. If their EMI does not come on time, then the bankers come home to collect. In such a situation, people have no choice but to give their lives to save their honour. 'Sarkaru Vaari Pata' talks on this subject. But the issue is that the film takes a long time to come to its topic. The entire first half goes into falling in love with Mahi and Kalavati and doing comedy. Just before the interval you are given a basic idea of what is going to happen next. The film reaches its point in the second half.

The effort of 'Sarkaru Vaari Pata' is good. But this film is neither able to put its subject seriously in front of the public, nor is it able to entertain them. Because this story is almost divided into two parts, which you are not able to connect even if you want. The alleged romantic and funny scenes of the film are problematic. You laugh in the theater but are not sure whether you are laughing at the joke of the film, or at the irony of this joke being in this film. For example, let us tell you about a scene. Mahi invites Kalavati to his house every evening. so that he can sleep with her. Don't take sleep in the wrong sense. He sleeps with his feet on Kalavati's feet, only then he falls asleep. I personally feel that many South Indian filmmakers cast heroine in their film, but they do not understand what to do with that female character. That's why he makes those characters do some weird things, which seem stupid and problematic.

Mahesh Babu has played the role of Mahi aka Mahesh in 'Sarkaru Vaari Pata'. This boy has had a very sad childhood. But he is not doing anything even in his youth, which can make his life better. Just relocating to the US doesn't make anyone's life better. You have to follow some rules there. But the film tells that his business related to money transactions is going well. However, Mahesh Babu had been doing the same things for some time now. With the help of this film, he tries to do something different and new. But he seems a bit confused in this film. On one hand they have to fight for a big cause, on the other hand they have to make their fans happy too. Fans want to see Mahesh doing full on action, dance and comedy. He does all this in the first part of this film. In the second part, he has to appear as a responsible citizen, who stands up for his countrymen. Mahi's character keeps getting stuck between these two things.

Keerthy Suresh has played the role of Kalavati in this film. If you see his journey from 'Mahanati' to Kalavati, you will feel bad. Kalavati is a regular South Indian heroine with a modern touch. First, she takes money from a boy by luring him. But in the end, she falls in love with the same boy. Modern because in this film that character is shown drinking and gambling while sitting in a casino. However, both the film and its hero consider that thing to be wrong. Samutirakani plays Kalavati's father and Rajya Sabha MP Rajendranath. Whose coin runs in Vizag. Seeing Samutirakani, it seems that he is carrying forward the character of Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapuramulo'. Watch Movie Reviews

'Sarkaru Vaari Pata' wants to entertain the public and give them a message, which is not properly delivered to the public. Because the film gets very cute while giving its message. This film is directed by 'Geeta Govindam' fame Parashuram. This is the first time that Parashuram is working with a superstar. In such a situation, the director has to cater to the fans of the superstar and also to say what he wants to say through his film. In this dilemma, they are not able to do anything properly. Overall,
the thing is that 'Sarkaru Vaari Pata' is an average mass entertainer film, which is neither able to entertain nor educate the public. Read More
